while I wait for the bottom bracket of my bicycle to be mended...hopefully..although since it's a brand they've not seen before (Lightning) it's possible they can't mend it.

What have you been doing to the bike? Riding up too many hills? Hope they sort it out as well as your 'own' home grown mechanic does!

ha!ha!..hard to avoid them here!..no either not firmed up enough initialy or a design fault. AOK now but unsure if permanent fix. Heat better but 7 hour drive knocked the stuffing out of me and last night fell asleep fully clothed while watching TV and stayed asleep for 8 hours!

ReplyDeleteHave you read or seen that the Masters Track are here in Perth next year - April 9-12. Track is having 2-5mm taken off in a few weeks so will be almost 'new' again. UCWT TT is on the Friday of that week at end of Track, not that too many people will bring multiple bikes I bet! I'll have my commissaire hat on, but if you want a bed (nothing fancy) you are welcome to stay here. Not sure about Fran, she had a stent put in back in March, but needs to have a second op. Helen Watkins will give it a go, but only short rides at the moment due to a crash back in March or thereabouts, but didn't do anything about it, and has 'paid' for a slow recovery as she had a partial fracture of vertebrae. Happy travelling

DeleteTues 9th April to Friday 12th, but as the UCWT TT has been scheduled for the Friday, who knows wht they are planning for Friday, unless evening session
